A Very Big Thank You {and News}

I apologize for being MIA these last few days, but holiday festivities were holding me captive!  I have been working diligently on a new project that I'm looking forward to sharing with you, but it will have to wait until the New Year!  I love writing with my whole heart, but Polish & Panache will be on hiatus because of what is to come.  I would like to thank you for your support and I hope you will continue to follow me on my new adventure.  {Hint:  it rhymes with letsy, metsy, and setsy... shhhh!!!}!  Until then, be well and I hope your holiday and New Year is filled with bliss, and of course sparkle!

Weekly Wrap-Up

Happy weekend, lovelies!  What sort of fab pre-Thanksgiving plans do you have?   If you're hosting Thanksgiving then here's a place setting I am in love with that is simple, but certainly has panache...

The Perfect Night

A couple of nights ago, the Mister and I went out for an impromptu {and much-needed} dinner date.  The food was delicious, the cocktails were delightful, the conversation was incredible, and the city was beautiful.  He was devastatingly handsome and we laughed for hours... it was date night perfection.   Afterwards we walked around our little city and took a few photos to remind us of the little gem we live in.  Here's a little peek...

Mid-week Cocktail

Infused vodkas are the 'bees knees' these days and this refreshing cocktail gives you the chance to create your own mint vodka to entertain with through the holiday season!  A pretty bottle filled with homemade infused vodka {mint or otherwise} would also be great as a hostess gift for your upcoming gatherings!  Cheers!

Serves 1
1 tablespoon crushed candy cane or peppermint candy
1 1/2 ounces mint infused vodka
1/2 ounce B&B {Benedictine & Brandy}
1/2 ounce half and half
Ice
Peppermint stick
Mint sprig for garnish
